REGIONAL COFFEE: GUATEMALA, HUEHUETENANGO
Huehuetenango has long been one of Guatemala’s prime coffee regions and it continues to be so, with an average farm size of 0.5 hectares. The amount of high-altitude land in this region is extremely vast, cultivating Bourbons and its derivatives; both of which are essential to produce high quality coffee. The profile of this cup is very fruity with a brighter and more citric acidity. It is also very common to taste hints of chocolate.
