Congolese coffees are widely known for their uniqueness especially those which are grown in regions around Lake Kivu. The surrounding landscape around the region has an extraordinary microclimate which makes the taste in your cup incredibly diverse, colourful and rich.

Despite the lack of infrastructure and complicated economic and political circumstances smallholder farmers in the eastern part of Congo managed to sustain the coffee industry and yet has brilliant conditions - high altitude, heavy rainfall and great varietal to produce and grow excellent coffee.

Overall, Congo (DR) Kivu coffee offers truly distinguished and pleasantly zesty flavours which you probably have never tasted before.
