This relatively small but immensely mountainous volcanic country’s perfect temperatures, altitudes and nutrient rich soil all contributes to brilliant conditions for growing coffee.
The farmer Ignacio Gutiérrez took an opportunity and after working with wood and tomatoes opened two plantations in El Salvador in 2000 where he planted first 500 coffee trees and now producing amazing harvests year after year – in 2013 and 2015 his coffees where first in Cup of Excellence competition.
